Series: The Rock -   Fishing

Newfoundland and Labrador is one of most picturesques provinces in Canada and my favourite to photograph.  Newfoundland island is nicknamed "The Rock". In this series there will be no history or geography instead jumping around the island following image topics. Presented is not the best images but rather attempting to show the diversity and beauty.

Just as a side note this is a subtask of the covid lockdown, so you must suffer through with me.
My deceased wife introduced me to couple relatives of her's who amazed and impressed me much. They taught me much of the ancient ways. They lived extremely modest. This couple were ones the government forced to move off the islands and resettle on the mainland. They both fished for a livelihood together in their boat to raise their family. She was a small tiny Lady, he a strong big man. The difference in the size of their hands was very noticeable. If I remember correctly they said they fished for 40 years and she was sea sick every outing. Strong people.
These scavengers are so well fed they only eat their favorite parts - the organs.
